Chichester Harbour

If you wish to be sure of a gentle, relaxing cruise in tranquil  waters, we can highly recommend cruising within the sheltered waters of Chichester Harbour. Chichester harbour is an area of significant natural beauty, with plenty of bird and wild-life, picturesque Bosham Village and the remote sandy beach anchorage at East Head, amongst many other places of interest.

A two hour harbour cruise.

Our basic offering is a two hour harbour cruise. On this cruise we depart from Chichester Marina, transit the lock and then sail down towards the Southern tip of Hayling Island, passing the Sandy beach at East Head on the way. This trip offers the opportunity to relax , unwind and enjoy the ambience of this delightful and peaceful part of West Sussex. Free tea, coffee along with a small selection of soft drinks and snacks are available. For a small extra charge we are even able to supply a cream tea to enjoy en route.

Extended Harbour Cruise

Chichester harbour is a large expanse of water, often even surprising locals that live in the area. We therefore offer extended cruises for those wishing to explore more of the harbour. These can be customised to suit your particular requirements and take in other harbour locations such as Dell Quay, Bosham and Emsworth. If you are lucky and the tide is right, you may even be able to watch the seals basking on the mud alongside the Emsworth channel.

Stop Over Cruise

On all our cruises you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to enjoy en-route. If you wish to eat your meal while stopped, we can do that at one of the harbour anchorages, subject to suitable conditions at the time. Alternatively we can sail to one of the other local marinas, such as Sparkes, where you can enjoy a meal ashore at the Drift Restaurant
