Your Skipper

Our boat carries a 2 person crew, consisting of your skipper and one of his experienced helpers. Exceptionally, the assisting crew can be a passenger with suitable boating experience and an extended safety briefing to familiarise themselves with all the safety aspects of the boat.

Your skipper is Peter Hickey, owner of Fairway Marine Services LTD. Peter formed the company in 2000, after a long management career in BT. His objective is to share his love of boating with others and through affordable pricing, generally make the pastime more accessible to a wider audience. Peter has more than 30 years of boating experience on canals and rivers, as well as coastal waters in the UK. He holds a Yachtmaster certificate with commercial endorsement and is an offshore member of the RNLI, a member of the RYA.

Peter's aims are to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and provide you with an enjoyable and memorable day.
